Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Please inform us of any changes to your insurance coverage. We strive to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.

Insurance Policy

We understand your dental plan is important because it helps you pay for quality dental care. Currently, there is a growing trend among dental offices to have patients pay their entire dental bill upfront and submit for reimbursement on their own. At Vegreville Dental Centre, we only bill the patient portion of the treatment and submit the remainder to the insurance company for you.

Insurance plans vary greatly between companies. Your policy is determined by your employer/ employee benefit package. Under the privacy act, insurance companies do not release policy information to dental offices. The contract is between you, your employer, and your insurance company. If you have questions specific to your plan, we recommend that you speak with your employer.

Due to the variety of companies that offer dental coverage, and how often they change their policies, we are unable to know exactly what is included in your plan or the reason why you may be declined for specific coverage. If you need assistance, we will help you with your dental claim forms and submission of these forms. Many insurance companies allow electronic submission of claims and we would be happy to submit these when possible. We can also predetermine benefits for larger treatments as specified by your plan (usually crowns, bridges, implants, and orthodontics).

Please note: You are responsible for all fees with regards to treatment you have received, regardless of your benefits and coverage. Payment options accepted at time of appointment include: cash, cheque, debit, Visa, or MasterCard.
